Hi, I'm Carly.

I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in Ventura County, California, and I've spent years photographing some of the happiest, most meaningful days in people's lives.

I'm also a wife and mom, which has shaped the way I see and photograph the moments that matter. Life moves ridiculously fast, and I've learned firsthand how valuable it is to have photographs that bring you right back to a season of your life.

When I'm not behind the camera, I'm usually with my family. We love being outside — camping, hiking, biking, swimming, and spending as much time outdoors as we can.

My approach

My photography is classic, light, balanced, and true to life. I love beautiful natural light and incredible scenery, but I'm always looking for the moments happening within it, the way your parents look at you during the ceremony, your best friend losing it on the dance floor, the little squeeze of a hand, the wind catching your veil, or the two of you laughing when you're supposed to be taking a "serious" photo.

I'll give you direction when you need it and step back when you don't. You don't need to know what to do with your hands or somehow become comfortable in front of a camera overnight. That's my job.

More than anything, I want your photographs to feel like you.

Beautiful without feeling overly posed. Timeless without feeling stiff. And full of the people and moments you'll want to remember long after the day is over.
